National Seniors NSW Liverpool Branch
are a group of people over 50 years of age who belong to the National
Seniors Association and meet on a regular basis to enjoy the social activity
and physical contact with people of similar views and situations. Our
group provides tour outings and interesting speakers, chosen for the challenge
and entertainment value as well as educational value.
We hold our general meetings at 10.00am
on the last Thursday of each month at Cabramatta Bowling Club, Fairview Road, Cabramatta.
These meetings are the basis of our activities and social contact. We
generally have an interesting speaker who can enrich our lives with more
than just educational values.
Our President currently is
Len L.
The Branch was established with a Steering Committee
in March 2002. The inaugural membership was in excess of 100 persons.
This meeting was held at the Liverpool Bowling Club. Currently the meetings
are held on the last Thursday of each month at Cabramatta Bowling Club,
Fairview Road Cabramatta
. The meetings commence shortly after the 10.00am opening of the Bowling
Club.
The Steering Committee maintained their positions for
18 months in order to establish an Annual General Meeting date for August.

accepted the nomination and election to president again for the 2004 Committee.
To our great loss, Barry died suddenly in July 2004 leaving the Branch
in a situation where all his plans, values and aspirations could become
the primary goal of the Liverpool Branch Incorporated.
